APIDAA
THE ASIAN PACIFIC ISLANDER DESI ASSOCIATION OF OCCIDENTAL COLLEGE
We are a student organization that aims to connect, support, and protect all students who self-identify as Asian and allies. We will build a community that celebrates and recognizes all backgrounds and identities of the Asian diaspora by hosting bonding events, raising awareness, and creating a space that promotes inclusivity, equity, and embraces diversity.
Our Goals
Unite the APIDAA student population and make them feel welcome and adjusted to the college environment.
Strengthen and build community relations in supporting local nonprofits and small businesses
Educate about the diversity of the APIDAA diaspora and raise awareness of APIDAA experiences
Build a self-sustaining organization and create a legacy on and off campus
